I think I want to photograph to share the emotions that are aroused by a particular landscape, person or moment.
A strong desire to capture the beauty of a moment to share it and say out loud: Look, what amazing places, moments, people that exist in the world.
They are everywhere , you just have to know how to stop and observe, if you look for beauty you will always find it.
And if you like to photograph it you can also capture it forever.
Here as I use this word capture I realize that it arouses a negative reaction in me, I don't like to capture a moment, it seems to me a selfish act, I capture the moment to make it mine , on the contrary I like to imagine photography as a sharing, I transform a unique moment that I would have seen only with my own eyes into a collective moment that I can share with anyone.
I am not capturing the moment in a cage, but I am releasing it into the air to be enjoyed by everyone.
That's probably the real reason why I photograph.
And good riddance to being able to understand it today as I write, but to get to this point I had to first, stop photographing.
